We have seen a lot of these black beetles too. They are pretty big too.
There is a big beautiful blossom on my zucchini plant this morning. I still don't have any zucchini on there but with all the blossoms I am hoping I will soon.

Beetles and Blossom
I went out this morning to check my garden and I found this pretty beetle on the wall. He was pretty big. You can compare his size to my finger. He would be pretty cool as a stumpwork beetle on a Crazy Quilt!
We have seen a lot of these black beetles too. They are pretty big too.

I don't know what that striped beetle is called, but I've seen one here before. I captured him in a jar for awhile and he huffed and hissed when agitated. Pretty cool!
