Fireplace Quilt, Maybe?
I pieced the blocks for the fireplace quilt and hung it on the closet door in my sewing room. I like it but I am unsure if this is really what I wanted. I also taped it above the fireplace to see what it looked like and I just don't know if the colors are right. I may start over but I will finish this one anyway.

I like the quilt. Are you thinking about a border?

Well, only YOU know the colors in your living room, but I really like your pieced top. I think it looks very "fireplace like" with it's touches of gold. In my dream living room, it would be great. However, my room, perhaps like yours, has a different feel - more light.
make that touches of orange - isn't aging fun....?
I think it is an interesting group of colors and I like the pieced design very much. Matching a room can be tricky. I made 4 quilts for my bed before I felt one really looked good in the room.
