They usually hang quilts on a black background at shows so the border goes away.

I did intend the green in the border all along. My very favorite green! Right Marci? There will be the brown African fabric outside the green. The picture shows the green as bright but it really blends well with the colors of the blocks. It just gets shiny because of the flash of the camera.

Thanks Everybody for the feedback!Kerri Murphyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01407034259691171282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33064139.post-67101876906589677182010-08-16T11:15:06.161-07:002010-08-16T11:15:06.161-07:00It's looking great. One of the warm tones maybe? Also maybe try black to see if it would highlight the patching colors? I'm kind of wondering if maybe the green is too much and too solid a color.jmmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11659927578575956817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33064139.post-31225976986013361012010-08-16T00:57:09.137-07:002010-08-16T00:57:09.137-07:00Oh, I like this design.Oh, I like this design.lakenreichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05126792646676292269noreply@blogger.com
